Albania Advances Renewable Energy and Battery-Storage Auction Planning

On 5 November, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development highlighted technical cooperation supporting Albania’s solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage auction programme. Earlier auction rounds had procured more than 800 MW of renewable capacity, although no new funding or contract value was disclosed.
